B20 Special Report To The G20: Jump-Starting The Global Economy In A Post-COVID-19 Phase

The past few months have established sufficient clarity to ground specific proposals for the post-COVID-19 phase. The special report was developed through multiple efforts, including discussion with global business leaders, recommendations from the leadership of B20 Taskforces and Action Council, and alignment with other Engagement Groups such as S20, W20 and L20, as well as with multilateral organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

CBRN Small Business Relief Fund Grant Spotlight: Lethbridge Alberta’s Honkers Pub And Eatery

Congratulations to Honkers Pub and Eatery, member of the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce, for being awarded a $10,000 CBRN Small Business Relief Fund grant. “We are so thrilled and honoured to be a recipient of the grant from the Canadian Business Resilience Network Small Business Relief Fund,” says Vicky Vanden Hoek, owner/operator, Honkers Pub and Eatery. “The $10,000 couldn’t have happened at a better time as we struggle to reopen from a four-day work week to now five and hopefully six as we once were. A #TeamCanada Approach

Baffinland Iron Mines

Baffinland Iron Mines, a member of The Mining Association of Canada, has donated more than $200,000 to assist five north Baffin communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The mining company and its employees put in excess of $115,000 toward food security, working closely with the hamlets in Pond Inlet, Arctic Bay, Clyde River, Iglulik and Sanirajak.
